International Student Reminders from OISA

Greetings, Global Cardinals (Wesleyan international students)! We hope your fall semester is off to a great start so far. Please carefully read the following important reminders from the Office of International Student Affairs (OISA):

Planning to work on campus?

If you are planning to work on campus this fall or have already been offered a position, please review our “On-Campus Employment & Volunteering” page for guidance on employment rules, filing taxes, and the process of obtaining a Social Security Number (SSN).

Get advising support when you need it!

When you have a question related to your F-1 student visa status, please start by searching for the information you need on the OISA website. It’s a great resource! If after your search you still need support, please seek out our virtual advising services.

Stay tuned for OISA programs and events!

With the start of the new school year and new staff joining our office, we are still in the process of planning our advocacy and programming initiatives, including F-1 employment workshops, for the fall semester and beyond. Please check our Events and Programs page, read Wes and the World, and follow OISA on Facebook to stay informed of our upcoming engagements!
