Please join AASC for a talk on Asian American mental health with David L. Eng and Shinhee Han, the authors of “Racial Melancholia, Racial Dissociation: On the Social and Psychic Lives of Asian Americans.” The event will be in the Fries Center for Global Studies on Friday, April 22, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., and food will be served.
About the speakers: David L. Eng is the Richard L. Fisher Professor of English and Asian American Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, and Shinhee Han Ph.D., is a psychotherapist at the New School and in private practice in New York City. They are the co-authors of the 2019 book “Racial Melancholia, Racial Dissociation: On the Social and Psychic Lives of Asian Americans.”
