The Fries Center for Global Studies is excited to invite you all to attend the 4th Annual Power of Language Conference to be held remotely on Saturday, April 10, 2021!

The Power of Language Conference seeks to bring awareness to the many benefits and complexities of language learning and to promote the study of languages.

We have an exciting line-up of performances and presentations for conference attendees, ranging from inclusive language and (mis)conceptions of bilingualism to language learning in the time of COVID-19. Full program schedule to be published soon.

We invite Wesleyan students, faculty, alumni, community members, and peers from neighboring institutions to join us in reflecting on all aspects of multilingualism in our communities and beyond.
