Getting antsy at your parents house? Or, stuck on campus and losing your mind? Consider taking a language course over break on Mango. You can earn a ¼ credit through your language study!
Students looking to receive quarter-credit through Mango Languages must meet these two criteria:
- The language has to be a Less Commonly Taught Language that is not available on campus
- The purpose of learning the language is for studying abroad, applying to a fellowship or internship, relearning a heritage language, and/or for professional development in a career field
How to get started:
The “getting started” procedure includes signing an add/drop form to submit to the Registrar’s Office; creating a log-in account with Mango Languages in order to access the language courses, and creating a Moodle class for the specific language requested. Each Mango lesson takes about 10 hours to complete and 20 hours of Moodle assignments.
