Call for Applications: Study Abroad in Scotland

The Saint Andrew’s Society of New York is seeking nominations for their scholarship for graduate studies in Scotland.

To be eligible to apply, a Wesleyan student must be:

(1) a senior, graduating in May 2026,

(2) a US citizen,

(3) of “some Scottish descent.”

Selection criteria include: academic achievement, extracurricular activities, financial need, and clarity of career purpose regarding graduate school plans.

Submit the statement of interest online by November 9 to be considering for the nomination. Contact the Office of Fellowships by emailing fellowships@wesleyan.edu with any questions.

Though this award is highly competitive, with only three scholarships awarded each year, a Wesleyan senior was a finalist for the award in spring 2025, and the Society encourages us to put forward a nominee. The campus Fellowships Committee will review applications from the candidates who submit a statement of interest by November 9, and the full application will be due later in the month of November.
