Introducing 2025-2026 Study Abroad Ambassadors

by Caroline Mancini

Each year, the Office of Study Abroad selects a group of four student ambassadors who have studied abroad in the past to share their own study abroad experiences with underclassmen. In addition to general advising, study abroad ambassadors assist in writing our newsletters and blogs, help with outreach and event planning, and host pre-departure orientation. They can also help answer questions about study abroad programs, financing study abroad, petition programs, scholarships and grants, and returning from study abroad.

Hi, my name is Caroline Mancini, and I am a senior majoring in psychology at Wesleyan. In the spring of my junior year, I studied abroad in Madrid, Spain (through the Vassar-Wesleyan program), and it became a highlight of my college experience. I loved learning Spanish, making new friends, and traveling all over the country. On campus, I teach yoga, research social psychology, and enjoy tackling surprisingly difficult puzzles with my housemates. I am so excited to be a study abroad ambassador and look forward to meeting students during advising hours!

Hi, my name is Puji! I am from outside of Philadelphia, and I am a senior. I am majoring in economics and minoring in data analysis and environmental studies. I studied last fall in London through the Boston University London Internship program. I loved the combination of learning about London’s culture and political economy in the classroom, while also gaining professional experience working at a climate startup in London. On campus, I am a studio leader for Wesleyan’s Clay Club. I am looking forward to helping students with the study abroad process!

Hello! I’m Diana Q. Tran, a College of Letters senior who is also minoring in Global MENA Studies. In the spring of my junior year, I studied abroad in Rabat, Morocco, at the Mohamed V University campus, surrounded by Moroccan university cats! Following that, I studied abroad in Nizwa, Oman, through the Critical Language Scholarship program, where I also had the opportunity to go to Salalah, the tourism capital of Oman! On campus, I am co-chair of the Vietnamese Student Association, a Writing Mentor at the Writing Center, and Project Manager of the Traveler’s Lab: Chronicles! I look forward to meeting all of you and supporting you with your study abroad journeys!

Hello! My name is Nora, and I’m a senior double-majoring in Sociology and East Asian Studies. I just spent the spring semester abroad in Seoul, South Korea, and had an amazing time. Back here at Wes, I’m an engineer in Sound Co-op, teach for Kpop Dance Crew (KDC), and look forward to teaching with Adolescent Sexual Health Awareness (ASHA) as well!
