Meet the New Global Correspondents for the Spring 2023 Semester!

The Global Correspondent Program is an initiative from within the Study Abroad Office that allows students and other members of the Wesleyan community to see what the day-to-day looks like for students studying abroad! This semester, six students were selected as Global Correspondents.   

While abroad, Global Correspondents will document their study abroad experience through various storytelling formats including blog posts, photos, social media takeovers, and videos. While students who are considering studying abroad may read post-program evaluations and speak with those who have previously studied abroad, the Global Correspondents can provide insight into the study abroad experience in real time.  

The Office of Study Abroad is pleased to welcome the following students as Global Correspondents for Spring 2023:

Nathan Hausspiegel ’24, studying abroad in New Zealand at IFSA – University of Auckland
Andrea Coronel-Lopez ’24, studying abroad in Spain with the Vassar-Wesleyan Program in Madrid
Gissel Ramirez ’24, studying abroad in England with the Boston University London Internship Program
Nicki Klar ’24, studying abroad in Chile with the Middlebury School in Chile
Serena Sink ’24, studying abroad in Denmark with DIS Copenhagen
