WRP Advocacy Week: The Contemporary Refugee Crisis

The Wesleyan Refugee Project (WRP), a student-run group at Wesleyan University hoping to bring awareness to issues affecting displaced people world-wide, is holding several consecutive events on “The Contemporary Refugee Crisis” by invited guests for Advocacy Week. Come sit in on one of the lectures to learn about the most relevant challenges that refugees face presently, as well as what you can do to help address these issues.

Events will include a lecture about sexual violence against refugees by Professor Abdo-Katsipis from the Center for Public Life. Additionally, free food from Mondo and Typhoon will respectively be offered at the Realities of Immigration Law and the Politics of Holocaust Comparisons lectures.
