Dispersed but still Connected: Send your work to us!

Written by Alice Hadler

In this time of social distancing, a very quiet campus, and a pandemic whose reach extends from down the street to the most remote corners of the globe and everywhere in between, we have decided to temporarily change the focus of the Wes and the World newsletter for the remainder of this academic year. We want to provide a forum for sharing your stories, stories in whatever form you choose – as you reflect on how the transition to this new world has gone for you, and the ingenious ways you have come up with to stay strong and connected. When we come back together after this storm has passed, we won’t be strangers.

Send your creative work to us, the newsletter editors (peasley@wesleyan.edu and ahadler@wesleyan.edu). We’re seeking input from the whole community – worldwide and local, students, faculty/staff, alumni – so please join us as we tell each other our stories from this strangest of times. If we are inundated with material, as we hope we will be – we’ll put the contributions up a few at a time.
